missing headboard cold food
i was really disappointed. the room lacked a headboard and had a shelf behind the bed, i could not sit up comfortably. the decor felt more about style than practicality. the breakfast room reminded me of a cafeteria and it was noisy, the hot food i got was cold.

reasonable stay
efficient check in well trained staff spacious room storage space tiny bedside table shuttle bus
the check in was efficient. the staff seemed knowledgeable. the room was spacious and the bed was huge (i appreciated that). the balcony offered a sea view.
i found the room design lacking in storage space. there was only one tiny bedside table. the location required using a shuttle bus to get around as it is far from bars and restaurants.

balanced stay with minor drawbacks
generous breakfast selection friendly staff members good food value inconsistent housekeeping limited coffee pods steep hill
the breakfast had a generous selection. all staff members were friendly and helpful. i found good value for food and drinks (i especially liked the local wine). the hotel provides a free transfer to the beach that runs fairly frequently.
housekeeping seemed inconsistent (i noticed a lack of clear standards). the pools did not open until 11 a.m. the hotel room had only four coffee pods, and i had to pay for replacements (i didn't expect that). the hotel is located on a very steep hill, made walking challenging.
